Steamed Greens with Ginger and Garlic

Ingredients:

  • Spinach (or other greens or your choice)
  • Garlic, finely chopped
  • Ginger, finely chopped
  • Olive oil

Place washed greens in a sauté pan with a small amount of water and add garlic and ginger.  Add a splash of olive oil or your favorite cooking oil and cover.  Steam for a few minutes until done.  We love adding steamed greens to grilled cheese sandwiches or quesadillas for a great way to add some farm fresh flavor to your old favorites!  You can use kale, chard, spinach, mustard greens, collards, beet tops or some of each for a great meal.
